Hoga Toga – Tech News Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Hoga Toga – Tech News Android application (“Hoga Toga”, “we”, “our” or “the app”) collects, uses, shares and protects information.

Information we process

• Account information: name, email address, password hash, profile information and login-session data when you register or sign in.
• User content: comments, reports, feedback and an optional reason submitted with an account-deletion request.
• App activity and diagnostics: app interactions, device/app information, crash or performance data and IP-derived information used for service operation, analytics, security and fraud prevention.
• Advertising and device identifiers: advertising identifiers and consent choices may be processed by Google AdMob to provide, limit and measure advertising.
• Notification information: a device push token may be processed when notifications are enabled.

We do not request precise device location, contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone or camera access for the app’s core news features.

How information is used

• Provide accounts, comments, favorites, notifications and other app features.
• Secure accounts, prevent abuse and respond to support or deletion requests.
• Operate, diagnose and improve the app and its content.
• Display and measure advertising according to your consent choices and applicable law.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers that process limited information on our behalf, including Google Play services, Firebase Analytics/Cloud Messaging, Google AdMob and notification delivery providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and our configuration. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer.

Advertising consent and privacy choices

Where required, the app requests consent before personalized advertising. You can review or change available choices from Settings → Privacy choices. Ads may still be limited or non-personalized depending on your choice, location and Google’s policies.

Security and retention

Information is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and mobile login sessions are revocable. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including security, fraud prevention and legal obligations.

Account and data deletion

You can request deletion from the app under the account/profile settings or through our public account deletion page. Account data and associated user content are scheduled for deletion within 7 days. Limited records may be retained only when required for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Children

The app is a general-audience technology news service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. A parent or guardian may contact us to request removal of information submitted by a child.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in Android settings, manage advertising consent through the app’s privacy choices, edit account information where available, or request account deletion.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
